Mit Freude am Mittelalter und gut recherchierten Inhalten sind wir auf verschiedenen Veranstaltungen (Mittelaltermärkten, Burgbelebungen, etc..) vorwiegend in Ostösterreich anzutreffen. Unser Fokus liegt auf dem einfachen Leben der spätmittelalterlichen Bevölkerung, in einer Zeit des Umbruchs.

Unser Profil ist vielfältig, unsere Stärken liegen in der Kulturvermittlung der mittelalterlichen Sachkultur. Außerdem führen wir Handwerk, Rüstzeug und Kampftechniken gerne vor.

Wir nehmen auch gerne an Feldschlachten und Belebungen sowie Bespielungen von historischen Orten teil.

We had the chance to demonstrate medieval woodworking, sarwürken (maille-making), and needlework, sharing our crafts with visitors and showing how these techniques were once practiced. It was such a pleasure to meet so many curious and enthusiastic people, talk about historical crafts, answer questions, and bring a little bit of the past back to life. ❤️ A huge thank you to MAMUZ for inviting us and for putting together such a wonderful event! They valued cleanliness, enjoyed a good bath, and even had dedicated bathing garments. Bathing dresses, and fitted undergarments appear in European sources from the late 14th to the 16th century in a variety of cuts and styles.   • Him taking care of us 🫶🏼 About to watch the annual Battle of Grunwald reenactment, Europe’s largest medieval pageant, drawing thousands of reenactors and tens of thousands of spectators every July to the historic fields of northern Poland, recreating 1410, when Polish-Lithuanian forces defeated the Teutonic Order.   • Defeat. While we are used to seeing triumphant poses glorifying victory, depictions of defeat and its consequences are far rarer. Showing what happens in the aftermath of battle is something most reenactments fail to portray properly. The grim realities of war are often omitted in favour of a more palatable version of events. The lamentations of the defeated are drowned out by the cheers of the victorious. History is written by the victors, after all. Vae Victis. Pictures by @chlup.to #medievalreenactment #livinghistory

Nine fearless ladies entered the arena at @bitva.trocnov , and after plenty of laughter, fierce determination, and even a dagger duel to decide the final winner, Sahra claimed the victory! 🏆 A well-earned prize, and judging by the smile, it tasted even better than the fight itself.
